Barcelona Sights, Sounds and Hotels
Built between 1905 and 1910, this Gaudi masterpiece, was once called the Casa Mila, but is better known in Barcelona as La Pedrera, the Quarry. The grey stone façade with its rippling uneven look has earned it the nickname. The roof with giant multi-coloured chimney pots and spectacular views of Barcelona attracts visitors to its heights. There is a simple museum devoted to Gaudi’s work on the floor just below the roof.
Barcelona's Casa Mila is one of the many exceptional examples of Gaudi's creations that you will find during your travels in Barcelona city. The welcoming Barcelona hotels will enhance your Barcelona experience.
